Richard is a multidisciplinary artist from the Netherlands (based in Lisbon) who works with found and used materials. His practice explores the relationship between sound, light, and material transformation, giving new meaning to objects that have already lived other lives. Through his work, he creates sensory experiences where light, texture, and sound interact with their surroundings.

With a background in graphic and product design, Richard observes and collects fragments from his environment that form the basis of his practice. By reworking these elements, he explores balance, memory, and perception, celebrating imperfection and the beauty found in what already exists.
